Refund policy

At Emerald Trading Group LLC, we maintain strict quality control to ensure all products are factory-sealed and unsearched. Due to the nature of the trading card market and to prevent tampering, weighing, or resealing, we enforce the following policy:

1. Sealed Products (Booster Packs, Bundles, etc.)

All sales of sealed products are final. Consistent with the policies of major retail chains, we do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds on sealed trading card products once they have been shipped. This ensures that every customer receives product that is guaranteed unsearched and untampered with.

2. Individual Cards (Singles & Promos)

All sales of individual cards are final. We do not accept returns on singles or promotional cards. Each card is described accurately and shipped in protective housing (sleeves and top-loaders) to maintain its condition during transit.

3. Order Cancellations

Cancellations may only be requested before the order has been processed for shipping. Once a tracking number has been generated and the package has entered the mail stream, the sale is considered final and cannot be cancelled.

4. Shipping, Damage, and Insurance

Our packaging method uses rigid corrugated inserts to prevent bending and environmental damage during transit. However, once a package is accepted by the carrier, Emerald Trading Group LLC is not responsible for items lost, stolen, or damaged in transit.

  • Standard Coverage (Included): All orders shipped via our Free Shipping tier are sent via USPS Ground Advantage, which includes up to $100 of insurance coverage at no additional cost to you.

  • Insurance Upgrade ($4.00): For orders exceeding a total value of $100.00, we strongly recommend purchasing our Shipping Insurance Upgrade at checkout. This flat $4.00 fee provides full-value protection for your high-end assets and blue-chip pulls.

  • Claims: If a package arrives damaged or is lost by the carrier, the customer is responsible for initiating and managing the claim directly through USPS.

    • We will provide all necessary supporting documentation (commercial invoices and proof of value) to assist in your claim.

    • Emerald Trading Group LLC does not provide direct refunds for carrier-related failures.

  • Assumption of Risk: By declining the Insurance Upgrade on orders over $100.00, the customer acknowledges that any loss or damage exceeding the carrier’s standard $100.00 coverage is the sole responsibility of the customer.
